LEAP PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Cortes Island Business and Tourism Association (CIBATA) has secured funding to develop a Local Economic Action Plan (LEAP)  to foster community economic development on Cortes Island

The LEAP is a grassroots economic action plan which aims to engage the community in designing an economic strategy for Cortes, and identify economic priorities for the island over the next five years.

CIBATA was formed in 2012 as a not-for-profit organization to initiatiate holistic community development and economic development for local businesses. CIBATA supports activities and initiatives that promote sustainable business and the island as a whole.

Cortes Island Economic Plan Survey

What do you think will ensure that Cortes Island has a thriving community and economy in the future?

What priorities should we focus on and invest as a community?

Are there trends that concern you?

We want to hear from you! Please complete our survey. The survey is a key component of developing the Local Economic Action Plan for the Island. It should take about 30 minutes to fill out. The more people who complete it the better. We hope you will take part!
